IL FESTIVAL
#LIVENEL è dedicato alla ricerca e sperimentazione della pratica performativa nell’ambito delle arti visive, privilegiando il lavoro di giovani artisti. Attraverso l'impiego di media differenti e raccogliendo una molteplicità di influenze artistico-culturali, gli interventi live proposti sottolineano la natura poliedrica del performativo e raccontano le sfaccettature della contemporaneità.
LA SEDE
L’edificio Ex-Enel di Piacenza è una palazzina nel centro città che fonde architettura industriale e liberty. Dal 2002 è proprietà della Fondazione di Piacenza e Vigevano, che intende trasformarlo in un centro per l’arte e la cultura contemporanea. Il Festival LIVENEL si svolge nel salone a piano terra, un vasto open space che restituisce il fascino di un’archeologia industriale, ideale per l’esecuzione di spettacoli dal vivo e site-specific.

FESTIVAL
#LIVENEL is dedicated to the research and experimentation of performative practices in the visual arts, focusing in particular on the work of young artists. Through the use of different media and collecting a variety of artistic and cultural influences, the final proposed interventions emphasize the multifaceted nature of the performative and display the facets of contemporary life.
LOCATION
The Piacenza Ex-Enel building is a building in the city center that combines industrial and Art Nouveau architecture, owned since 2002 by the Fondazione di Piacenza e Vigevano, who intends to turn it into a center for art and contemporary culture. The LIVENEL Festival takes place in the living room on the ground floor, a vast open space that brings back the charm of an industrial archeology, perfect for live and site-specific shows.
