Jah Sound International is a Sound System from The Netherlands and was founded by Glamma Willy and Hartical Wise in 1989. Glamma Willy, the main founder, started his DJ career 22 years ago in Local discotheques in Leeuwarden. At that time he was playing Disco -- Reggae -- and all other kinds of music. At home he was listing to Reggae music because the disco massive didn`t like Reggae to much. In 1989 he found his final road to succes with building the Jah Sound International crew. In 2004 Glamma Willy will be celebrating being a DJ/selector for 20 years. Jah Sound International is a Reggae & Dancehall Sound System Crew playing all kinds of Reggae - Dancehall and specials. Sometimes when people ask for it we also can deal with a slice of R&B and and/or Hip Hop. The music is backed up by two dynamic MC's presenting shows in the original Jamaican/US style.They perform in foreign since 1994. At that time Hazi (former Jah Sound crew member) was an important person for the introduction of Jah Sound International in Germany resulting in the killing of Pow Pow sound system in their hometown Koln in 1997 in a venue called Rheinlander.This was one of the most wicked clashes at that time.
