nd Blues, though as he says - "it's all music". Voicings of Country, Reggae, Folk, Jazz, Alternative, you name it, can all, at times, be heard within his guitar driven compositions. He was born in Germany but grew up in England, just South West of London, where he was to spend most of his twenty's within the Kings Road and Chelsea local music scene, having dropped out of studying Economics and Politics at Manchester University. He spends most of his time now in Italy, playing live up and down the peninsula, known as "The Grunge Troubadour", romantically summing up the life of an electric vagabond true to his vocation. He sings his songs of his life's experiences alongside those of his heroes and has been likenened to John Lee Hooker, Calvin Russell, Tom Waits, and Joe Cocker. A night listening to Muzz Murray is an experience that leaves you moved - a man alone on stage, voice and guitar; apparently simple yet very powerful, engaging, intriguing - he catches the now, with stories and sounds that will involve you from start to finish.
