Ad inizio anno i Muse sono tornati a farsi sentire con il nuovo singolo Won’t Stand Down, senza però dare troppe indicazioni circa un loro nuovo lavoro discografico. Oggi la band britannica svela finalmente il mistero: uscirà infatti “Will Of The People“, nuovo album firmato Warner Music.
Il disco arriva a 4 anni di distanza dal precedente “Simulation Theory” ed è stato registrato tra Londra e New York. Stando alle parole del frontman Matthew Bellamy “Will Of The People” è influenzato dalla crescente incertezza e instabilità del mondo in cui viviamo.
A pandemic, new wars in Europe, massive protests & riots, an attempted insurrection, Western democracy wavering, rising authoritarianism, wildfires and natural disasters and the destabilization of the global order all informed Will of the People. It has been a worrying and scary time for all of us as the Western empire and the natural world, which have cradled us for so long, are genuinely threatened. This album is a personal navigation through those fears and preparation for what comes next.
